Managed Spam Filters

These managed anti-spam services pass your email via their own managed hosting servers before delivering it to your own servers, minus the spam. You just change your domain's mail server (MX) DNS record, and require no additional local software.

Each could be variously referred to as an Application Service Provider (ASP), an outsourced antispam solution, email outsourcing, an on-demand mail filter, an email service provider (ESP) or Managed Service Provider (MSP), Software As A Service (SAAS), a hosted service, or simply “hosted email”.
